I got quite bored with the latter and I'm not too excited about it but I'm still thinking about comparing the use of language in Lolita with and A Clockwork Orange. . I think use of language is really too vague, unless you consider adding an extra area of comparison. I think with Lolita and A Clockwork Orange, because they're both first person narrators, it would be really interesting to compare how much empathy you can feel for either of the protagonists, so a question like In Lolita and ACO, does the author intend for the audience to sympathize with the protagonists or not, and how is this compassion, or lack of it, achieved?
